What type of junk, debris, or materials does Papa Haul Away Services take?

We will Haul Away just about anyting to include construction and renovation debris, yard waste, household junk, appliances, clothes, wood, lumber, garbage or trash.

Does Papa Haul Away Services take Hazardous Waste?

No, we do not. You can contact city services at 311.

How do you charge customers?

Generally we charge based on the volume that the material takes up in our dump truck. However if your material is extremely heavy or overly large we have a surcharge.

Can you give me an exact price over the phone?

Unfortunately because we cannot see the material over the phone we cannot give you an exact cost. However, we will give you a no obligation estimate and if the prices are agreed on, we can start right then or set up a day to do the removal. You can also get a good idea of what a job will cost by viewing our PRICE LIST to see the capacity of our dump truck.

How much notice do you need?

We can schedule most jobs within 48hrs. Please call us as soon as possible so we can accommodate your time requests.

What areas do you service?

All of Hamilton and Bradley Counties

Are you licensed? insured?

Yes, we are fully licensed and insured with workers compensation, general liability and auto insurance.

Will you haul junk from inside my home or building?

Yes. Depending on the location (stairs/elevator) a small surcharge may apply.

Do I need to be on site to have the job done?

Not at all, but if there are some items you not want removed you might want to try and be there or mark them so we can see the items you want to keep.

Can you do the job after business hours?

Yes, we will work around your schedule, including evenings and weekends

Do you take campers, trailers, or vehicles?

NO, we no longer accept campers, trailers, or any vehicles. If you have a broken down vehicle that you no longer want, there are some auto companies that will actually come and haul away your vehicle at no charge.

What do you do with all the junk that you haul away?

Most of the material that we haul goes to city transfer stations and/or recycling centers.

Can you do light demolition work?

Yes we can! Shed tear-down, porches, pools, pool decks, carpet removal, house decks, privacy fences, garages, patios, retaining walls, Garden Houses, etc...

Why would I use your service instead of a rented dumpster?

Papa Haul Away Services provide all the loading and clean up for you. You are only charged for the volume that material takes up in the truck as apposed to a rented dumpster where your are charged a flat fee for the dumpster regardless of what you put in it. Secondly a dumpster must sit on your driveway and may crack your cement for the entire time of the clean up while you have to load it.

Do I get discount if the material is worth something?

Unfortunately because we do not receive discounts at the transfer stations we have no savings to pass along to you.

When do you get paid?

We provide you with the service first and once job is completed you can pay us when were done. In most cases, we won't require a down payment for our services until work is complete. We do however would like to get paid in full after job is completed due to the cost of gas and dump fees that we cover up front. Please note: jobs that are very large such as multiple dump truck loads may require a 50% deposit.

Do you offer payment plans?

No. Payments must be paid in full when work is completed.

What about payments for commercial work?

Commercial work varies, but payments still expected when job is completed. Some cases we can discuss payment terms based on the job.
